Reflection
Your strength for today’s spiritual battles does not come from your own willpower. It comes from your position. When you willingly place yourself under God's authority, you are protected by His power. As Chrysostom noted, the devil trembles before a soul that is humble before God. Resistance is not about gritting your teeth; it is the natural result of being submitted to your loving Commander. You can trust Him to be your shield. He will not let you stand alone against the enemy. How will you intentionally place yourself under His command today?
