The Compassionate Priest’s Intercession
In His agony, Jesus reveals His compassionate priestly heart, interceding for us when we are weak and aligning His will with the Father's.
Before the foundation of the world, Jesus was there. In the fullness of time, He was born of a woman, born under the law (Galatians 4:4). The eternal Word took on flesh and pitched His tent among us, fully God, fully man, the one in whom every promise of Scripture finds its yes and amen. To know Christ deeply is to understand everything else more clearly.

About This Theme
Welcome to the studies in "The Person of Christ." Who is Jesus?
This is not merely a historical or academic question; it is the most vital question a person can ever answer, for on it hangs our entire faith. Scripture presents a breathtaking portrait: Jesus is not just a prophet or a moral teacher, but the eternal Son of God, fully divine and fully human. The Apostle John declares that the “Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14), revealing the very nature of God in a way we could see and touch.
Studying the person of Christ is foundational because it shapes everything else we believe. We see in Colossians 1:15 that He is the “image of the invisible God,” the one through whom all things were created. To know His divine authority is to trust His power to save. To understand His perfect humanity is to find a sympathetic High Priest who understands our weakness (Hebrews 4:15). As we explore who Jesus is, our faith moves from a set of rules to a living relationship, transforming our intellectual knowledge into heartfelt worship and our hope into an unshakeable assurance in our living Lord.
