Overview

Daniel’s 70 Weeks is an in-depth Bible study course exploring one of the most important and debated prophetic passages in Scripture. Beginning with the historical setting of Daniel 9, the course follows Daniel as he studies Jeremiah’s prophecy, recognises that the seventy years of exile are nearing their end, and turns to God in earnest prayer.

Rather than rushing immediately into dates and prophetic calculations, the course first examines the spiritual and covenant setting of the prophecy. Students will explore Daniel’s prayer of confession and intercession, the relationship between Israel’s disobedience and the Law of Moses, and Daniel’s appeal to God’s righteousness, mercy and covenant faithfulness.
