And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” — Mark 16:15
Mark 16:15
Observation
What if a command was not a burden but an engine? After His resurrection, Jesus gives this final instruction to His disciples. It is not for a select few. This is a universal commission. He tells them to go into *all* the world and proclaim the good news to *all* creation. The scope is total. This becomes the new, primary orientation of their lives. Their local ministry has now become a global mission. The message is singular: the gospel.
Reflection
Jesus never gives you a task you cannot handle. His command to go is also His promise to go with you. You are not being sent out alone. This commission was seen by early believers not as a heavy weight, but as a freeing purpose. The good news is not meant to be held in. It is meant to be carried out. God has entrusted you with the greatest message in history. He will provide the strength and the words for every step of obedience. Can you trust Him to use your simple willingness today?
Sit With This
Where is one place in 'your world' that you can bring the good news of Jesus today?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for trusting me with Your good news. Forgive me for the times I have stayed silent out of fear. Give me the courage to go and speak of You today. Amen.
Did You Know?
Roman roads and a common trade language, Koine Greek, were instrumental in the rapid expansion of the early church, helping fulfill Jesus' command to go into “all the world.”
