Description
What does it mean to truly listen when God speaks in parables?
The parables are easy to recognise, but not always easy to hear. Jesus used parables to reveal the Kingdom of God, expose the condition of the human heart, and challenge how people respond to Him.
This eight-part series explores some of Jesus’ best-known parables, including the Sower, the Mustard Seed, the Hidden Treasure, the Weeds, the Shepherd’s Search, the Rich Man and Lazarus, and the Sheep and the Goats. Together, they show us that the Kingdom is a present reality that must be received, treasured, and lived out.
Each session is designed to help individuals and small groups slow down, look carefully at the text, and reflect honestly on what Jesus is saying. These studies include biblical teaching, discussion questions, and space for personal reflection, helping you consider how you hear the word of God, how you respond to the Gospel, and what it means to live faithfully under the King’s rule.
This series includes 8 sessions:
Jesus’ parables are divine stories that both reveal the mysteries of the Kingdom to those with spiritual discernment (‘ears to hear’) and conceal them from the hard-hearted, inviting us to seek the King rather than just a moral lesson.
The reception of the Gospel is not determined by the Sower or the Seed, but by the condition of the soil, our heart, which must be intentionally cultivated to bear the fruit of the Kingdom.
The Kingdom of God grows from the most humble and hidden beginnings to become a powerful, pervasive, and world-transforming reality.
The Kingdom of Heaven is a treasure of such supreme value that it is worth joyfully surrendering everything we have to possess it.
God’s patience allows good and evil to coexist for a time, but His justice guarantees a final, perfect separation at the end of the age.
God’s heart is revealed not in judgment but in His relentless, joyful search for the lost, a search that finds its ultimate expression in Jesus, the Good Shepherd.
Our response to the vulnerable in this life is not a secondary issue but a primary indicator of our relationship with God, revealing our true eternal destiny.
Genuine faith is authenticated not by profession alone, but by compassionate action toward the vulnerable, which serves as the ultimate evidence of our allegiance to the King.
Designed for individuals seeking deeper spiritual insight and small groups longing for meaningful dialogue, this study offers transformative reflections that bridge ancient wisdom and modern life. Each session invites you to wrestle with the paradoxes of God’s grace, patience, and justice, ultimately leading to a more authentic faith. Begin your journey into the King’s parables today—where revelation meets revelation.
